Sujanpur Tira – This picturesque location is situated at a distance of 42 kms  from Palampur and is at a height of 700 meters. This town was built by Raja Sandra Chand who had undertaken the reigns of his kingdom at the mere age of ten years.



Taragarh- This place is an ideal location to spend some days of tranquility and calm in the lap of exotic tea gardens as the tea estates here are spread along the breadth of the town. It is located at a distance of 12 kms from Palampur and is geographically located on the foothills of the Dhauladhar Mountain range.



Baijnath- This place should be surely visited by a devotee of Lord Shiva as there is a temple dedicated to Vaidyanath, an embodiment of Lord Shiva and is known as the Baijnath Temple. This temple was built in eighteenth century and has been a strong testimony of identity for the valley of Kangra. This place is at a distance of 16 kilometers from Palampur.
